Introducing Yourself to Dramatica

We have a recommendation for you to try if you're really new to Dramatica. We suggest going through the Level 1 StoryGuide with a story you make up as you go along. That way you're only trying to learn what Dramatica can do for you as a writer and how it works WITHOUT trying to identify and fix story problems of your own. Give yourself a time limit (say two or three hours) to complete the entire Level 1 exercise, and limit your "fill-in-the-blank" answers to two or three lines. That way you can go through the entire process QUICKLY, understand what Dramatica can and cannot do for you, and THEN address those nagging story issues you've got in the project you're working on.
