We've covered enough Genres to get us started and enable us to choose our Main and Impact Characters.

Keep in mind that the references listed here are as basic as it gets.  Every Genre makes exceptions to these rules and is reinvented with each movie written every passing day.

The key—as always—is to view and analyze as many films as we can.  Define your Genre, watch every picture in it, make notes about the Central Characters, and get to know what has been done and what hasn't.  The more you know, the better your script will be, and the better chance  you'll have to sell it.

In the meantime—and now that we have Central Characters—how about going to the next chapter to choose a Setting for our movie?
