  DRAMATICA'S ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

Before starting a project with Dramatica you should know what to expect.  As with any creative process, Dramatica has its own special style, particular limitations and unique powers: there are things you could easily achieve with it while others could be tricky, and others will be impossible.  So you better know what you're gonna get to see if you want to go with it or not bother at all.

Storywise, Dramatica's strengths can also be its weak points: depending on which kind of story you're writing, it can make wonders for your screenplay or damage it beyond repair.  The following characteristics are typical of a Dramatica story and are detailed here to see if that's what you want for your script, or if you think it does better without them:
