Dramatica for Screenwriters:
Additional Materials

by Armando Saldaña Mora

Welcome to a preview of the preliminary version of the supplementary materials for "Dramatica for Screenwriters," a new book being written by Armando Saldaña Mora (creator of "Instant Dramatica") and produced by Write Brothers, Inc. Our plan is to release the book and supplementary materials in printed form after it has been completed in late 2003. Until that time, we intend to "serialize" the release of materials as they are written and revised, doling out a new section of the book every two to four weeks.

Unlike "Dramatica for Screenwriters," which is a "how-to" book for screenwriters, this second book focuses on nature of the Dramatica theory of story—sort of a conversational version of the Dramatica Theory book. Here's how Armando describes the supplementary materials:

The second book is labelled "Additional Materials" and covers simple, undemanding explanations of the Dramatica theory.  This one is loaded with visual aids and, thus, was designed like a web page.  My intentions are to put this second book on-line as a companion for the book and also as promotion --though my wife suggests this could be a CD-ROM companion for the printed book.

It's important to note that this is a preliminary version of the book. We fully expect there to be some additional editing and revisions of these materials before they go to print.

NOTE: Use the arrows on the left side of the pages to navigate through the online book. They'll appear when you go to the book pages.
