Dramatica Writers Group—FREE!
The Dramatica
Writers Group meets the FIRST (1st) and
THIRD (3rd) Tuesday of each
month from 7:00-9:00 PM at the OFFICE
LOCATION in BURBANK--the
meetings are held in the classroom of Write Brothers in Suite H.
Make sure to check the calendar and below for alterations to the schedule.
Everyone
is welcome. These meetings are a chance to get direct feedback on stories
you are working on. All we ask is that you participate in giving feedback
to others as well. The use of Dramatica Theory at these meetings has made
them especially productive and we welcome new people and projects. No
reservations required.

Hey Dramatipallies,
Our next Writers Group will gather in a week -- on Tuesday, February 7th -- and the material we will discuss is ready to go out for reading. It is an unfinished and untitled feature screenplay by Sarah H., who joined us earlier this month. It is currently referred to as "Untitled Jay Project", and I believe it can be described as a comedy-drama, or "comerama". (Hey, why not?) The script is up to 103 pages, and we will help her find her ending as well as review the story so far.
If you plan to attend the DWG next week, let me know and I will forward you a PDF of the script.
As always, if you receive the material and then can't make the meeting in person, please contact Sarah individually. I will give you her contact info if you need it.

few tips regarding parking: There is free street parking and the courthouse public lot allows for three free hours (before 6:00 PM) and free afterwards. Enter the building from Olive Ave. or through the back from Angeleno Ave. Suite H is on the upper (2nd) floor, all the way to the back of the building. This building does not have an elevator, which means there is no wheelchair access, unfortunately.
NOTE: After 6:00 PM and all day Saturdays and Sundays there is parking behind the building. This parking may be accessed from E. Angeleno Ave. as parking for 343 Angeleno, or from Glenoaks or 3rd Street via the alleyway between Olive and Angeleno.
