Dramatica Writers Group—FREE!
The Dramatica
Writers Group meets the FIRST (1st) and
THIRD (3rd) Tuesday of each
month from 7:00-9:00 PM at the OFFICE
LOCATION in BURBANK--the
meetings are held in the classroom of Write Brothers in Suite H.
Make sure to check the calendar and below for alterations to the schedule.
Everyone
is welcome. These meetings are a chance to get direct feedback on stories
you are working on. All we ask is that you participate in giving feedback
to others as well. The use of Dramatica Theory at these meetings has made
them especially productive and we welcome new people and projects. No
reservations required.

Hey Dramatiscreenplayadapters,
Hope you all fared well in your Oscar party pools! Well, tomorrow night we will be reviewing another Academy Award winner, from a couple of years ago, at the Users Group gathering led by Chris Huntley. The movie will be "Michael Clayton" (just can't have enough of that George Clooney!) -- it will be screened in the conference room starting at 5:00, and the discussion will start at 7:00. That's Tuesday, March 9th at Write Bros. in Burbank.
We have our next Writers Group a week hence, on the 16th, and we do have a project lined up to discuss. I will be in touch again on Wednesday or Thursday once the reading is ready to go out (I don't believe it'll be a full script).
If you have a project to bring, let me know and I can schedule you for April 6th or 20th.
In the meantime, see ya tomorrow night!

few tips regarding parking: There is free street parking and the courthouse public lot allows for three free hours (before 6:00 PM) and free afterwards. Enter the building from Olive Ave. or through the back from Angeleno Ave. Suite H is on the upper (2nd) floor, all the way to the back of the building. This building does not have an elevator, which means there is no wheelchair access, unfortunately.
NOTE: After 6:00 PM and all day Saturdays and Sundays there is parking behind the building. This parking may be accessed from E. Angeleno Ave. as parking for 343 Angeleno, or from Glenoaks or 3rd Street via the alleyway between Olive and Angeleno.
