Everyone

Hey Dramatichums,
For next week's Writers Group, Tuesday Aug. 17th, we have a new screenplay to review from Chad D. It is 98 pages long. His logline is as follows:
"A reclusive teen uncovers that his father took his own life 10 years prior. He left three letters behind to people he knew, and now the teen flees home to deliver these letters, and in doing so finds out who his father really was and what brought him to the edge."
If you plan to attend next week, let me know and I will forward you the PDF of the script. As always, please only request the material if you definitely intend to be there, or otherwise will commit to responding to the author by e-mail (his addy is on the cover page).
Of course, don't forget we have our Users Group tomorrow night (or tonight, depending on when you get this) -- screening at 5:00, discussion at 7:00. The movie is the Japanese film "Shall We Dance?" or "Shall We Dansu?"
By the way, I've already gotten a commitment of a script for the Sept. 21st DWG, so our next open spot is October 5th, in case you want to snatch that up. Just let me know.
See ya later!

A
few tips regarding parking: There is free street parking and the courthouse public lot allows for three free hours (before 6:00 PM) and free afterwards. Enter the building from Olive Ave. or through the back from Angeleno Ave. Suite H is on the upper (2nd) floor, all the way to the back of the building. This building does not have an elevator, which means there is no wheelchair access, unfortunately.
NOTE: After 6:00 PM and all day Saturdays and Sundays there is parking behind the building. This parking may be accessed from E. Angeleno Ave. as parking for 343 Angeleno, or from Glenoaks or 3rd Street via the alleyway between Olive and Angeleno.
