They have deliberately kept the class size small, and there are still about a dozen open seats. This workshop represents the culmination of nearly a year's worth of classes they have taught, and promises to bring the theory to life. Cost is $249.95. Call Mary Parrillo at (818) 843-6557 x538 to make reservations.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * DRAMATICA ARTICLE IN LA TIMES BUSINESS SECTION 6/30/95 Nice front page article in the Friday LA Times business section. Talks about the business of marketing Dramatica. Also mentions our competitors. FYI -- I didn't actually say that if Jurassic Park used Dramatica, it would've "rendered their film a classic in the tradition of "Gone With The Wind" or "Citizen Kane". Nice thought, though.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * DRAMATICA WRITER'S GROUP MEETINGS EVERY WEEK!! A Writer's Group has been organized for writers interested in feedback on projects which they are creating with Dramatica. In the two hour meetings, which begin at 7:00 PM every Tuesday night at the Screenplay Systems offices in Burbank, there is time to closely go over two different writer's projects. The theory of Dramatica provides a terrifically helpful baseline along which to give and receive useful feedback, especially in a discussion with many people who are familiar with its concepts. Everyone is welcome, although you must attend once before for your writing can be added to the agenda and given feedback. Questions and information, call Mark Haslett at 818 843-6557 x532
